A sad day came to pass last Sunday, when Beverly Ragsdale passed away after a short illness. She was a great community volunteer, wit her hand in everything: Rotary (the first female president in Ramona); the Town Hall restoration project; RamonaNow! - the incorporation of Ramona into a city; and of course, the Ramona Community Planning Group.
She had a lovely service, with approximately 180 people that came to her funeral to make their goodbyes. In attendance from the Planning Group was Torry Brean, Andrew Simmons, Pastor Luanna, Kristi Mansolf and Cathy S. Finley. Folks gave testimony to her good work, and there were several beautiful songs sung in her honor.
